The first week of project month

So this week is the first week of project month at my school, and before I write anything further Project month is a 3-week program where we didn't study at school, instead we make this crafts and little projects at school everyday.

In my previous post that I uploaded in October "How I Planned my First Display Stand for a Craft Expo at School," I told you about my first Project month and how I planned a display stand for the first time to display our craft projects. And this November is Project month again. But this first week is the toughest week I have ever had in years.

Monday

Since it's the first day of project month, there's an opening ceremony and I must've eaten something bad for breakfast because I had a stomachache that felt like period cramps in the middle of the ceremony, so I got carried to the nurse's office. And one of my friend also experienced the same thing so we skipped the ceremony together. This day isn't really much because for some reason most of the teachers aren't present, still don't know why.

Me and my friend, as a dumb person we are, decided to order takeouts online, and the food turns out bad and we wasted our money. There's actually better food in our school's cafeteria, but we chose to order takeouts because we both crave that godforsaken food. And we're forced to live with this curse forever.

The most upsetting part of that day is the group share. The Project month's group is suppose to last a year until we graduate the year, but the group is meant to be shared equally by the teacher on-duty but in our previous project month, our class got a teacher that allows us to create our own group with whoever we want, that's why our previous Project month is so enjoyable, because I got to experience it with my friends. I wasn't actually involved in the act of dividing the groups itself, because I was off-school for a scout ceremony, but the teacher didn't like how we got to pick freely, and so they used this lame excuse where they said Project month is not about the result, it's about the process. And it's kind of an insult to our class, because the teachers admitted themselves that our class is the most creative one, but they said that only the results are good, not the process. So I ended up with these 8 strangers I don't know and will never care about.

Tuesday

I was shamed. It's the worst possible day in the history of days. Basically, my new group didn't like me, because I'm horrendously bad at public speaking, and I think it's ridiculous because you could easily see that I am standoffish person right from the start. They all laugh when I started talking while we were doing our presentation. I don't know what I did wrong, I might have noticed that I have a really quiet voice, but apparently it's to the point where people laugh at me when I talk.

To be honest with you, since this is a personal blog after all, I was bawling my eyes out when I got home until I fell asleep, and the next day my eyes is swollen.

Wednesday

My eyes is swollen and my friends noticed it and tried to ask me what happened. And of course I denied any accusations of crying, and instead I tell them that I can't sleep and ended having an all-nighter.

But Wednesday is pretty good because I mostly played Roblox with my friend, and I completely forgot about my group laughing at me the previous day because of that.

Thursday

Nothing really happened on Thursday, and I think I spent most of that day playing Roblox with my friend, who isn't on my group but we got seated really close together and it's awesome.

Friday

The most lightning fast day I had. To be fair, school's over at 11.30 AM on Fridays. We did nothing most of the time of course, but suddenly we're given the task of writing and doing a presentation for the last 2 periods which made us hurry things up and the explanation paper is so badly decorated, and I felt guilty for it, because I'm the artist of the group and my job is drawing all the time and decorating the paper.

Saturday

Saturday started out bad, because I had a group presentation for Computer Science, and before you got confused Computer Science is one of the subjects at school that didn't get affected by Project month, and our group did really bad because we aren't prepared at all. The rest of the day is fine though, me and my friend played Roblox when it's recess, and we did our projects when it's study hour, just like the usual. And my favorite part of this day is when I was in after-school Scout, filming for our extracurricular video submission.

This week felt so long because of Project month, and I know for a fact Project month is going to feel like a year, but I'm excited for the actual project on week 3. That's it for this week's article, and see you guys next week.
