Long Break: Things I'd Like To Work On

So, unfortunately, I can't continue my Guerilla Street Art project at school for 4 weeks starting this week because there's a long break going on and every week's cut off with something. So, for the next 3 weeks, I will be posting interval posts like I did for 2 weeks before the polaroid arc started. So I hope you guys are okay with it, I predict my Guerilla Street Art project will still end in late May. This post is going to be a short one, because all I will be covering today is a list of things, projects, and hobbies that I would like to work on if there's long breaks from school happening like this one, and if I've got free time in general. For the first one, I'm thinking of relaunching my small business. Now, I got a little bit obsessed with small businesses 2-5 years ago in 2020 and 2023. At first, I started selling digital products and stickers on Gumroad and Etsy and I've made a couple hundred Dollars from them, and now that I'm in high school...

Photos For This Week's Polaroids #GuerillaStreetArt

Second week of the polaroid arc. This week is a pretty intense week at school in my opinion, I did my long awaited physics presentation on Tuesday, which was followed by a scouts club evening get-together later that same day. And also mathematics quiz on Thursday, which really sucks, since I hate mathematics and I messed up the quiz so bad. And I put up the Polaroids for this week on Thursday since school's off from Friday till April 9th. So I guess there's a lot going on. But, like every other Lane's Guerilla Street Art post, for you who didn't tune in my blog, this project is where I, Lane, put out various things in my school, for example, my first Guerilla Street Art arc is about putting random hand-drawn postcards in my school library, for the purpose of cheering up fellow bookworms and artists around school as well. This goes on for two weeks until I move on to the next style of Guerilla Art. So for the next arc, I'm doing Polaroids of photos I've taken ar...

Polaroid Journey: A Photographed Guide to The World Of Guerilla Art

This week we're back on Laney's Guerilla Art project. It's been 2 weeks of unrelated posts but we're here to finally come back to the Real Thing (by Alice In Chains...Just kidding). For you who didn't follow my blog, this project is where I spread around different kinds of art in places at my school, for example hand-drawn postcards, Polaroids, drawn sticky notes, and more. Last week I did postcards in the school library, and most of them were aimed to cheer up the whole library, and they turned out great. So, the next Guerilla Street Art that I'm going to do is... *drumroll please* Polaroids taped to trees and poles! Since my school is pretty green itself, there's a lot of different trees in the school field, and a few notable poles around as well. And so I'm going to capture 5 photos throughout the week from Monday to Friday, print them into Polaroids, and put them on random trees and poles at school on Saturday.  So the journey begins on the place ne...

Petition To Start A School Blog

I've been thinking long and hard about this ever since I started writing in my own personal blog, Artificial Life, which is the blog you're looking at right now. Writing is an experience. Some people enjoy it and some may not. But I wanted to create something that the people who enjoy it will appreciate. Since my school already had a website anyway, I thought why not create a school blog? In this post, I will be writing a petition to start the school blog. You see, I love writing. And out of the 1,279 students at my school, I can't be the only one. And I've always wanted to write for a paper, blog, magazine, and other similar things. Working with people on blogging is on my bucket list, since everyone involved can count it as a unique experience. Searching for experiences to write, is like going on an adventure. You never know at what length a journalist will go to get materials for their writing. And that's what made it fun! Not only do they have more experience b...
