The last act of my Guerilla Street Art project is starting right this second! This week, we’re finally exploring the fifth act of this project which is the envelope letters arc. So, the idea is that I’m going to make different types of letters, and by “different” I meant themes. I’ll give myself 2 days and in those 2 days I will structure a themed letter and they will have themed stuff inside, but the requirements is that I got to have a themed letter (handwritten or typed), a themed zine, 2 polaroid drawings (which I will call as “photos”), 3 drawn stickers, 2 quote letterings, and one or more unique items in each envelope. And they will all use different colors and sizes of envelopes for theme purposes, and to top it off, I’ll seal each envelopes with different types of seal (like normal double-sided tape, wax seal, decorative washi tapes, etc.). School’s back, and it came with a few changes. New classes, new grade, new desk-mates, and new schedule. The government made a few changes about school schedules this year, which is that students anywhere from grade school to high school only go to school from Monday until Friday, so since this week, Saturday isn’t a weekday for students in my area, in fact, the school strictly said that even extracurricular activities won’t even be allowed on Saturdays. They wanted grade schoolers, middle schoolers, and even high schoolers to be more “close” to their families, meanwhile their parents still have Saturday work schedule, so this new “schedule” isn’t going to cut it, in my opinion. For extracurricular activities, it’s only allowed on Friday after school because the school bell rang at 12 PM on Fridays. And because Saturday isn’t a school day anymore, the rest of the week added more classes in a day, so from Monday until Thursday students finished school at 4 PM. The 5 optional classes I t...

     Since a week after summer break, the scouts extracurricular club has been busy practicing our performance for the new student orientation event where the new freshmen will be introduced to our school. The new student orientation event is a 2-day event at school to welcome new freshmen. This year, every extracurricular club at school is required to do a performance/club introduction during the club showcase and are also required to make their club’s stand/booth where the new students could sign up to their club. And the scouts extracurricular club is determined to get 30 new members to sign up into their club, and that’s how our journey began. The day before the event, we prepared props and decorations for our club stand/booth. Our stand was placed in between the journalism club and the basketball club.  Summer break isn’t as long as I had expected, and that means some of the activities I had in mind for summer is no longer doable. But set that aside, I still have some activities I had in mind to do this summer break, and we’re going to cover most of it in this week’s post. From high urgency, Scouts practice is still on this summer, because we’re preparing for the club performance to showcase to the upcoming freshmen, and our goal this year is to welcome 25 new scouts member, and we still haven’t come up with a strategy to pull out that many freshmen into our stand, but I’m in charge of our stand design and our club poster so I will do my best to make it look interesting. Currently, we’re preparing to do a dance performance and a formation variation routine using scout staffs. Some other main summer activities I’d planned is the one with my long-distance cousin and my sister.
