A Full Day Of Chaos: School's Art Expo Day

There's a pretty special day I'd like to write about today. And it's about the "big event" I mentioned in the previous post. I will be writing about the school art expo day. It's an event at school where students perform stage art and other students can sell foods and beverages. And we can show off our finished projects from the previous project months, since we made bottle caps crafts and other really cool stuff. And the best thing about it is, in my opinion, is that students can dress up and wear makeup! Because we have uniforms and were not allowed to wear even a sunscreen to school, this is everybody's chance to dress up. Students are also allowed to cosplay in this event which is super cool, and one of my friend did a cosplay of 'Power' from Chainsaw Man, I'm not familiar with the character myself, but her cosplay looked fantastic. My class got picked to sell foods and beverages, and we made a butterfly pea flower drink and corn fritters. ...

What I Made For This Week's Postcards

Back in our Guerilla Street Art project, Lane here, I'm going to write a recap on this week's postcards report. If you didn't tune in my last week's post, I started this Guerilla Street Art project, and it's about spreading around things like handmade postcards, Polaroids, sticky notes, origamis, and filled envelopes at school and the purpose is to make everyone's day happier, like finding easter eggs all over school. And in the next 2 weeks, I'm making origamis to put on flower pots, and so on. Since I started last week by making 6 postcards (Monday to Saturday), so this week I'm continuing the postcard arc by making 6 of them for each and everyday to scatter in the school library. The first postcard that I did this week is a "f...

Scattered Postcards: Starting A Guerilla Art Project

You may have noticed this from my previous blogs, but two things I like the most are art and activities to keep myself busy. Well, this particular thing is the right thing for me. I actually found out about Guerilla street art a couple of years ago (I believe), or maybe early/mid-2024. I've been wanting to try it for such a long time, and now I got a chance to, so I'm gonna take it. There are many types of Guerilla street art, such as; Scattered postcards, which is the act of spreading around hand-drawn or printed art postcards and put it in between random pages of a book in a public library. Polaroids on telephone poles, putting polaroids, doodles, or poems on a random public telephone poles or trees. Hidden mini origamis, make little origami animals and organize it on a fruit shelf in the supermarket. Yarnbomb, there's a whole subculture of it, and it's about placing yarn on an entire tree or poles in public places. Sticky notes on random places, doodle or write ...
